Send him a link to this destroyed 444 Marlin Contender, the 444 runs @ 42kpsi and has a .470" case head, the 284 Win runs at 56kpsi and has a .500" case head.

     I find it hard to believe that someone who posesses the ability to accomplish the work that is obvious in the pic did not have the knowledge to know better .  Flash, You did good throwing in the red flag! Thanks!

I thought the .444 was on the Contender list of barrels approved?  I know my .375 JDJ uses the .444 case!  Something doesn't sound right here??
