Hunted down there in Ehrhardt several times with 2 other well know guides who I'm lucky enough to be friends with. Got to spend some time behind the scene of the paid hunt camp and all I can say is that Ehrhardt is a last little vestige of times gone by, its still a wild place and you'll come across every swamp critter you can think of tromping around, over half either sting or bite and you'll find plenty of that variety everywhere. Pigs and deer, coyote, fox, bobcat and other game critters are everywhere. One store (jeffs IGA?) To service everyone, if you want more choice in groceries prepare to drive awhile.. like stepping back in time 75 years when you go down there. Wish I was there now. Highly recommended area to book a hunt. J
