Well now, it may be true that I am somewhat "frugal" when it comes to lookin' for the best deal in reloading components (got to be when you're retired and loading for 2-3 shooters), but I really don't know how Hext has any room to talk. From the way they sounded (I've heard louder cap guns), and judging from how long it took for the bullets to reach the steel (Old Hext was generally reholstered before we heard the last clang), I'm bettin' that whover put together Hext's loads got in the neighborhood of 7000 per pound of powder (now, THAT'S frugal). But, I've gotta admit, he was havin' plenty of fun doin' it, and that's what it's all about.
