44 mag made of gold

I was in the local hardware store today and made a swing by the gun counter (like not walking by is possible).  Their prices are always a little high, but I was surprised at what I found.  They had a new 44 mag Handi with the camo synthetic outfit and a camo scope that I couldn't find a brand name on and looked like a standard 3x9.  Price: $499.99.  I didn't ask, but it must reload itself. With free ammo.

Keep your eye on it.  If some fool doesn't wander in and buy it before hand, after next inventory time ya might wanna offer them 250 ;D ;)

Wow - are you sure it isn't a combo with another barrel tucked in the box someplace? Didn't some of those come with a scope? Then I could see the price but man that seems quite over the normal prices I have seen.
Makes me a little more thankful for the prices I see around home at our stores....    thejanitor
