buffalo classic with 500 grainers and trailboss

just loaded up a bunch of 500 grain penn bullets for the bc with trail boss . i ended up using the 3.7 lee dipper which took it right to bottom of bullet. sure is fun to shoot you got time to here it hit the back stop after you shoot i am just wondering how far i could get these to shoot before i run out of adjustment on pro diamond shotgun scope

I seem to recall the Army did a test on the 45-70 wayyy back when and shot one 2 miles into a bunch of oak boards.  Not too sure about your scope but if memory serves me right the shot was taken by holding the rifle UNDER his arm to get the elevation.........seems like it penatrated a good deal into the oak as well.
 
Likely could have had a cup of coffee while the round was 'in-flight' but I'll bet one would have known when it finally landed!!!

I think the mid range trajectory was something like 36 FEET.  Dont worry about the scope , just use the see through rings on the front and low rings on the back ::) ??? :o
