They are not all short. This one is quite accurate at 50 yards - given the sight on a shotgun. From McAce.

got a pair from mca sports , 45-70 in 12 ga 18"
tried them out with my stoeger cowboy shotgun
after just a little tuning , i got R and L barrels 1" to 2" apart at 50 yds with the shotgun bead as sight.
more than satisfactory

would probably just need one for now was thinking about one in 357 may have to do some more research
