I know the .243 Handi's can be tempermental at best but mine will shoot Winchester PowerPoint 80 gr soft points pretty well. 1.25" to 1.5" 3 or 5 shot groups at 100 yards. I tried Feds 80 gr. soft point and it is not as good, 2" 3 shot groups at 100 yards. Yesterday I tried the Federal Premium 100gr. Sierra BTSP. Groups if you can call them that were 9" plus at 100 yards. Do .243 Handis prefer lighter bullets over the heavier ones? Mine is not the Superlight but it's not a heavy barrel either. Gun was originally a youth model with a 22" barrel with no sights. I put an adult sized 'pallet wood' monte carlo stock on it.

My stainless synthetic NEVER shot anything over 80 grains worth a hoot.   Groups with 100 grain bullets looked like buckshot patterns, not bullet groups.  Since mine was intended for deer hunting and I think 80 grain bullets  light for deer, I sold my rifle and never looked back.  This has kept me from buying a .308 which I'd really like to have if could get it to shoot.

Back when I was still buying some factory ammo, this was my choice... One Winchester I had would shoot this about best of any facotry ammp.

Sorry I have never shot any on my handis.

BUT I will tell you mine shoots 100 and 105G slugs in my hand loads just fine.
