Recoil springs in semi-auto's??
« on: January 24, 2004, 02:37:47 PM »
After seeing so many guns with dry recoil springs I figured its time to post my feelings about this??  Do you lube your recoil springs in your semi-auto??  I use my favorite moly on the spring just a light coat will do.  I also lube up the face of the hammer too, it does get reset by the slide and does show signs of wear on the hammer face too.  I just don't feel right letting anything run dry that moves in semi-auto.   What do you think??  To lube or run dry??                                        BigBill
