And, he's so out of sync with the majority in this country that he is not electable.  That is not a jab at RP (actually a jab at the majority), just what I see as the situation.

I gotta wonder what would happen if "the majority"  would take the time to actually READ The Constitution?

OR if the Majority would actually research each candidate and get involved with the politics of their nation. Stop relying  on filtered sources and media talking points and actually check out candidates voting records, past stances  etc..

Good idea there, check to see if their voting record passes "constitutional muster"!

Yeah, I wonder about things too.  What would happen if the majority read the Constitution, or paid federal income taxes, or was raised to believe in conservative values?  I'm 50 years old, and in that fairly short time, a lot of things have changed in this country.  I believe that many of those began with Johnson and his "great society".

The socialistsrecognized in 1884 (birth of Fabian Socialism), something many conservatives have not yet learned; namely that  short of armed insurrection, we cannot have a wholesale revolution.  We must take it back the way we lost it..step by step.
Fabianism is taken from the Roman General, Fabius...he realized he could not beat the Cartheginians in one big fight..so he nipped at Hannibal's heels..bit by bit, defeating the Cartheginian army, until they were worn down to defeat.  Socialists the world over know that incrementalism is the key.  They have come so far just that way, taken from Gen Fabius, here's their agenda;   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_strategy  Rob us of freedom bit-by-bit..
They started in the schools, getting socialists and their agendas established in grade schools through high schools..then on to higher education.  Then they moved to entertainment, followed by "journalism"..  all spouting atheistic-socialism.
Currently, their aim is to root out all traces of Christianity from the public discourse.  Here's a article explaining Fabian Socialism (creeping socialism); you will see recent agitator's pics there.  Even included is an advertismant for the Obama's.
     http://www.encyclopedia.com/topic/Fabianism.aspx
Socialists are like a disease..when one gets installed in a position..he starts packing available positions with other committed socialists.  That is what has happened to public education, entertainment and now, so called "journalism"..
Don't plan on anything revolutionary..without bringing your gun along !  Thus if you want a peaceful transition; plan on incrementalism...anything else is pure Pollyanna...

IG, that is a very good post, but I'm afraid that most people don't understand that the liberal tactic of incrementalism can be used against liberals.  my comment about eating the apple "one bite at a time" got me crucified.

If I can't win by hitting them head on, I'm willing to flank.  At an early age, I learned to only fight fights I can win.  Losing causes are ok for those who are willing to lose.  I'm a pragmatist......being poor I've had to settle for second or third best all my life.  I'll do it many more times before I die.

We see things differently I guess, and that's ok. But I would like to make two points.

Point 1.
My father taught at a very early age, If you know your right , stick to your guns , fight the fights , take your licks , cause it doesn't matter the outcome, If you stand up for what you believe to be true , you will always have your dignity and self respect win or lose, and being a little guy I can assure you I lost a lot more fights than I ever won, but I can also assure you those that tangled with me always knew they had been in a good scrapp (even when they won) , and I always walked away with head high cause I knew I did my best.

Point 2.
I too was brought up quite poor , A treat was day old donuts, almost expired bread,  or potato chips,  cause our family had Blue collar uncles who drove the distributing trucks to local stores. anything left over they would be sure to stop by on the way home and give to my family. Govt cheese and Govt peanut butter was a staple in our house, And there were times when we were down right hungry , not the occasional hungry like a skipped meal. I mean down right hungry. and for those that knock food stamps thank god for the program . After my dad died. My mom went to night school and learned a skill , and got us off the food stamp program as soon as she could (she was always embarrassed in the store having to use them). But there was a period of time without food stamps she could not have kept us together as a family and kept a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs. Food stamps were a hand up ...not a hand out when we needed it most.  and no one spent them on liquor or cigarettes either . they went to necessities like baby-food, and vegetables.

And that's why I'm sticking with RP. Just cause others are saying they are one thing don't make 'em so. RINO's
RP walks the walk and talks the talk. He gets my vote win lose or draw.

And that's just how I see it .

I will vote for RP in the primaries, but also whoever has the best chance of beating Obama, whether a Republican or an independent.  I will not vote for any Democrat until/if they start wanting less Federal government and more freedoms.  I too am a pragmatist, someone must beat Obama.
