I want to add a new barrel to my H&R Ultra Handi, it has the laminated thumbhole stock. I wanted to know if any of you guys know the muzzle diameter of the 22 inch 270 Win or the 26 inch 280 Rem. I know i'm kinda splitting hairs here but i like the extra length of the 280 but there's more ammo options with the 270, don't hand load. I have to admit that there is and always has been a need for speed with me. The number of times when younger i had my motorcycle over 120mph can't be recalled and it's never left me. I have found some loads with the 280 loaded with the Barnes 120gr TTSX at 3280fps. Thank you ahead of time
