Does anyone have any experience with Weaver 2.5-8 handgunscope?  The catalog says that the eye relief is 4", which I know is not correct.  I cannot get to their websit.  Does anyone know what the eye relief is or have any of you had any experience with this scope.

According to the information that we have, the eye relief is 8.25-18".   I am not sure on the durablility of the Handgun series, but I do know that optically they are a great scope.  Very clear!  If they are a durable as the Classic and the Grand Slam series, you will not have a problem.

:D  I have that exact scope on my Encore pistol in 22-250. The eye relief is 8.25-18". The scope is very clear, I shoot golf balls out to 200 yards with no problem.  :D

I have the straight 4X on a Ruger 480.  I was very impressed with the optics.  I did have a slight problem with it though.  Something inside broke loose but I sent it back to Weaver and they fixed it.  Now there is a slight "haze" in the lower left hand corner of it.  I will be sending it back again.
