I just picked up a New Model single six 22 cal with mag cylinder... where can I go to get production date?  ser no. 64-268XX

on the new models, Ruger customer service is your best bet

per the Ruger web site...  it was produced in 1976

The vast majority of Ruger Firearms produced in 1976 are rollmarked "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty" and are referred to as "Liberty" marked guns amongst the collectors of Ruger Firearms.
