Beautiful gun.  Pictures just can't do justice to that Colt Royal Blue finish.

Had the pleasure of owning a couple years ago.  Got $450 dollars out of the last one I sold.  That was a good price at the time - tells you how long ago that was!

IMO the Colt Python is one of if not the sexiest revolvers ever made.   Let us know how the project progresses.

If it has to be explained you probably won't ever get it.  Best I can do is give some examples.

SWEET: Ruger Redhawk, Charter Arms .44 Bulldog

SEXY: Colt Python, S&W Model 19 "Combat Magnum"

What qualifies a gun as sexy to me is it's lines, well shaped and figured real wood grips, and a deep rich bluing.  But I would say it has mostly to do with it's lines.

Same principal applies to cars as well.  A 63' Corvette Stingray is sexy, a 67' Pontiac GTO is sweet.
