Gun show Hornet
« on: March 03, 2012, 08:32:31 AM »
I didn't buy it as they don't float my boat so to speak but I saw a Handi in 22 hornet with a 3x9x40 pre china Tasco scope,  H&R factory rail and fairly nice shape PW stock set (schnable forestock) with an asking price of $225.   I only mention this as this is $150 or more less than any gunshow used Handi hornet I have seen in the last couple of years.   I hope it is a sign of downward used Handi gun pricing but probably just a seller who needs money for food and gas on the way home.

I saw another Handi hornet at the local candy store for $210 plus tax.  It is the same vintage as the gunshow hornet with the schanable forestock, scope rail, IIRC iron sights and no scope.  Looked in decent shape, blue barrel 22" standard contour.   Don't like hornets that much so it is still sitting there in NW Ohio and has been for several months.  I imagine they will deal on it.   Anybody want information on the store send me a PM.
