The bill also does away with ammunition restrictions for registered gun owners. Under current law, residents face up to a year in jail for possession of any ammunition that is not in the same caliber or gauge as the registered gun.

Are you kidding me? That reminds of one time back when I was still married. I asked my ex-wife to pick up some 20 gauge ammo at Walmart. She bought 28 gauge by mistake. Walmart will not let you return ammo. In DC that would be worthy of a year in jail? These people are insane.

Not returning ammo is a federal law and yes those people are insane.
