Which scope where?

Ok I have 2 brand new unmounted scopes both are 2x7-32 . One is a Vortex Crossfire ,the other a Nikon Prostaff. I also have 2 rifles in which to scope . One is a '49 336sc 30/30 that has no open sights and was a waffle top till the preveous owner defaced it . The second rifle is a 7.63x39 Handi new unfired . I am at an impass as to what scope belongs where ?  Any insight on how to proceed would be useful.  Patrick.

If one scope has more eye relief I'd mount it on the rifle that kicks the most.
