7.65x53mmBelgian/Argentine Mauser

With all the interest I've seen in this forum and if ammo maker's employees read these as I've heard , maybe the ammo makers will get the message that there is a market for factory loads in this caliber.Graf has Hornady making brass and loaded ammo and from what I gather both are selling very well.Maybe we 7.65 shooters should start writing to them and give them the word that we are out here and ready to buy if they will make it at a more affordable price than the Norma offerings.

Cole's Dist has some Portuguese (sp?) newly made and reloadable stuff for a reasonable price.  I haven't bought or reloaded any but a friend had some and it shot ok in his Argie carbine.  Worth a look but I'm so into forming my own from 8x57 brass that I haven't tried any.

BTW;  It is my opinion the Belgian and Argentin are not the same cartridge regardless of older published statements.  The headspace on Belgian chambers is about .010" longer than Argentine chambers and the belgian bores run .314-.316 whereas the Aergentine bores are .311 - .312.  Brass sized in Lee or other "Belgian" FL dies will most often not chamber in Argentines but Argentine 7.65 FL dies size the brass fine.
