    Home schooled .. 6 year old Laurie Ann Madison goes on to national spelling bee.

  Historically, our presidents made a big poiunt of presenting the trophies to the top finishers in the national spelling bee, which is held each year in Washington, DC.
   You might not hear much of that in the last 3-4 years from the major media, nor the oval office...since the national spelling bee has been dominated by home schooled and Christian schooled youngsters in recent years.

I just watched Patty-Ann interview her on Fox.  that is a sharp little kid.
