I wont' get into an accuracy war about the 10-22 since I've seen so many that were aftermarketed into very accurate rifles. I bought mine to have a short, light, easy to carry little go to gun for everything. I've actually enjoyed it more since I've removed the scope in order to thin out the armadillos rooting up my yard which they tend to do after dark. The Remington Sub-sonic, low noise rounds don't wake the neighbers up (outside the city limits) and proved to be very accurate even for squirrels.
