Yes, and stupid liberals in this country are trying to mimic Europe..why ?  After living 2.5 years there, I certainly saw nothing in Europe which we should imitate..

IG is right, except for one modification...I lived there for almost three years...stationed in Kaiserslautern, and I took a good look around.
 The only thing I'd like for the USA to copy would be Switzerland's gun laws.

   I spent the 2.5 years in nearby Pirmasens..except for diversions to FTXs at Birkenfels, Baumholder and "Kiwi College" in Bad Tolz.....

I was there from early 84 to late 86. Totally rear-echelon by then but had friends from the old days at Bad Tolz. 
 My daughter and her hubby were stationed at Pirm and then Wiesbaden, 86-89.

     I'm an old man and was there much earlier..63 through 65.. rear eschelon by then also (signal) having bee originally a tanker.  At that time the Kaserne was named D'Isly Kaserne, later to be renamed Husterhoeh Kaserne..then still later turned over to civilians.  I used to get to K-Town fairly often.
  Spent time in the woods around there when 'alerts' were called..
