I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, but I will vote for ANY Republican over leaving Obama in office. He could completely destroy this country his second term. Our health care will be in shambles, no lead bullets or lead fishing weights, high inflation, continued high unemployment and underemployment, high gas prices, higher taxes. Only a matter of time till hyper-inflation kicks in and destroys America. At least with a Republican you get either conservative or moderate Supreme Court justices, not far left loonies. Also, we might have a chance to cut some budget, and get flatter taxes, maybe give us a few more years before Hyper-inflation.
In 1913 the Federal Reserve was created. After that, we had high inflation the next few years, followed by the WWI ending with troops coming home and high unemployment for a couple of years with a recession. Then the Roaring 20's with a booming economy, then the Great Depression, WWII, high unemployment with high inflation, then the 50's settled it down, then with Nixon getting completely rid of the gold standard and the Arab oil embargo, another recession, followed again by high inflation, then Reagan settled it down for the next 20 or so years. But another never ending war with high government spending, and the government easing home loans and making banks loan to people who wouldn't otherwise qualify. Then bam, another bad recession followed by even more government spending. Next is hyper inflation.
Cutting taxes help stimulate the economy, depending on where the taxes are cut, which is what Republicans like to do. Dems want to raise them to pay for the spending, which results in further recession, inflation, or a depression. GOVERNMENT MUST BE CUT AND A FLAT TAX for all, individuals and corporations. This encourages upward mobility, inovation, and production. I know of people who turned down raises to keep out of a higher tax bracket because the took home less money than staying in the high end of the lower bracket.
