Doesn't seem like a very Christian attitude on his part. ;)

Seriously though.....why is this national news? :-\

Not that it is any of my business or anyone on GBO for that matter unless the mother or father are members here.
So why not just put the kids in the baptismal again and dunk them from the other side and say everything backwards and just undo it  ::)

I mean really? If this goes to trial it will be an utter waste of tax payer dollars and I feel for those in Ten that have to live with the fact that their state sees fit to waste tax dollars on such nonsense.
And to the father... get a life... as I understand it children until they reach the age of accountability have a free pass into Heaven so why did the mother see the need to Baptize the children now anyway. I bet that it is a bad marriage that ended in a nasty divorce and both parties are equally at fault and need to grow the hell up for the sake of their children. Oh and not force the good citizens of Tenn. to pay for their animosity for one another through the use of the legal system.

Darn right! If she's found to be at fault make her pay the costs of the court, the clerks, the judges wages........ ;D

It should never have come to the court.. If the father bdoesn't believe in baptism, or baptism at that time...no harm done, all he has to do is consider it an extra bath and let it go at that !
Whoever brought the frivilous suit in this csae should pay the court costs...and the judge should be given some "wisdom pills"...
