30/30 loads using 104 and 110gr projectiles
«

I'll be loading some squibb, small game, and varmint loads in a 30/30[combination gun].
I've got some 104gr 1/2 jacket slugs and some surplus 110gr[M1 carbine] slugs.
Any suggested loads?
Thanks.

Go careful on the "squib" in your loads. A jacketed bullet stuck in the bore can be a problem. Here are the loads I use with Hornady 100 gr HJs and Speer 110 HPs.
Squib/plinking and small game; 11 gr of Unique/100 gr HJ.
Good pleasant all around load; 14 gr of Unique/100 HJ (2175 fps in 20" barrel)
Varmint load; 27 gr of H4227/100 HJ for 2525 fps or 37 gr H335 with the 110 HP for 2550 fps.
