I've seen a couple of "woodgrain" dipped stocks. Didn't look too bad at all. They did, however, have a "plastic" look to them, sorta like laminate flooring. Don't remember what outfit did the work.

I'd go with the Aden, that way you won't need to wear any hunter orange! :o

Seriously, please post a pic if you have it done.  First I'd heard of this kind of treatment.

Can buy a kit and just do it yourself too.  ;)  If you don't like how it turned out, you could always scuff it off and re-dip.  ;)

WOW, I like that.  Got a 25-06 and a .22 Mag that I want the Snowflake Camo on.  Will talk to my partner when he gets back from Anchorage and see if we can do that to several of our guns.

It'll look better than Rustolium.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

My biggest concern would be messing up a $100 dip kit.  For me I just use blue painters tape, and $15 worth of krylon camo spray paint topped with some varnish.  It's very durable if done right, but I have lots of experience painting, and none dipping.

I have bought the kit and tried to do some myself also have bought differant patterns including some of the wood grains . I have not had very good luck not sure what the issues are but it ain't as easy as they make it look in thier video's. have tried to do it to the letter of the directions .Here are some pics of the only one that I have been able to get right. It is Tree Bark. I have tried at least a 1/2dz others to no avail. I got over $200 tied up in the kit and other film. Kurt

PS if I get this figured out I got enough film and stuff to do @ least 8-10 guns...just got to discouraged to deal with at this time.
