Dream + reality mixes...

 Last night I was having a dream I was at work (a factory). I was standing near some machinery and felt something sharp jab my leg from behind. I turned around and saw that a guy loading a long steel bar into a lathe had backed the end of it into my leg. "Hey, watch it bud!" I said. "Oops, sorry man." he said. Then he did it again, and I got a little hot with him.
 
 Right then I woke up and found my cat standing on the back of my thigh, doing that 'kneading' thing they do with their claws when they're getting ready to take a nap.  ;D

I was in a cross country foot race in Alaska. After crossing the finish line I fell down and just could gasp

One of the weirdest dreams I ever had was when I dosed off while riding with my sister in her car headed to the Cape on a road we traveled often.   In the dream I was also riding with my sister in her car, on that same stretch of road.  In my dream she suddenly swerved into a gas station and took the door off a car that was sitting at the pumps with its drivers door open then headed back out onto the roadway, never slowing down.   The shock of this jolted me awake and I immediately looked out the passenger side window just in time to see the gas station disappearing over my shoulder!  I snapped my head around to look at her with eyes that must have been the size of baby moon hubcaps because she said "Cripe, what the heck is wrong with you?" or something to that effect.
