Savage 24 hammer plunger removal

Anyone here know how to remove the hammer plunger from a Savage 24M? Need to do a tweak adjustment to fix light primer hits on the shotgun shells. Thanks!

This was actually a pretty common problem.  There is a fix written about this on savage24.com.  Go to the FAQ page, and about halfway down there's a little blue link that says "and the fix."
