Contender Hunter barrel measurement

I am wondering what the actual length of a 12" 30-30 hunter barrel is. I haven't been able to find much information on these anywhere I have searched. Did the Hunter barrels have the muzzle break on them? And if they did, was that  included in the measurement . Is the actual rifled length of the barrel closer to 10" then?

Yes my 30-30 ten inch bull barrel is 9.7/8 if you get technical.

"Yes my 30-30 ten inch bull barrel is 9.7/8 if you get technical". So you are not talking about a 12" Hunter barrel? How does it shoot with factory ammo? Do you have any accuracy or chronograph data. Or do you reload for it.

Yes, the muzzle tamer is included in the length measurement. You have 10+ inches of barrel with a brake on the end.
