Alliant Power Pro 300 MP ?
« on: May 01, 2012, 01:53:15 AM »
Looking at a few loadings from the Alliant manual show some velocities that are a little hard to beleive. These are listed as pistol/revolver loads from there 2011 manual
357 Magnum 170 gr. Speer GDSP , 17.5 grs. Power Pro 300 MP       1620 FPS
500 S & W     350 gr. Speer UCSP , 49.0 grs. Power Pro 300 MP       2000 FPS
Is anyone using this powder and can confirm velocities anything near this in a revolver ?
These seem really high to me.          Jedman  :o :-\
