Whats the big deal? Being a natural born citizen is a requirement to hold the office of president. Everyone who is "applying" for the job should have to show proof that they meet this requirement.

No more "Just take my word for it." Cough up proof. If you meet the requirment proof shouldnt be that hard to furnish.

This would be cause for celebration.

he should just show proof

all politicians should show proof

this is a discreet way to call obumers eligibility into question
without appearing to be a birther

i few years back at a festival.
a  local politician had a fund raiser both set up
with  his birth certificate prominently displayed
i ask if he thought obumer was born  in the  USA?
he said he didn't know.....''but  i sure was born here''
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP A DEMOCRAT
OBAMACARE....the biggest tax hike in the  history of mankind
free choice and equality  can't co-exist
AFTER THE LIBYAN COVER-UP... remind any  democrat voters ''they sat and  watched them die''...they  told help to ''stand down''

many statements made here are fiction and are for entertainment purposes only and are in no way to be construed as a description of actual events.

Wouldn't make a bit of difference if he were foreign born..we learned that in the last presidential election..

The only ones even nuttier are the ones who made the ugly mistake of voting for Obummer in the first place...and are poised to make the same mistake again !

I have always liked that quote, now if only my companies business process folks would apply it against their own internal processes, our companies productivity might actually increase.

I am kind surprised but not too much I guess. I see most of the birther obsession w Obama as trying to overturn a free election and git rid of the black guy whom they will not accept as President ,even though elected by a majority of voting citizens. Romney? Must be religios bigotry instead of race.  Birthers are a little diverse in their wackiness, looks like... .
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Whats so whacky about asking for proof that someone meets the requirement to hold office? Would you go to a surgeon who said "just take my word for it" when you asked about their credentials?

Indeed, I see nothing wrong with expecting a candidate to prove he is eligible to hold the office, hell, I had to show a birth certificate to join the army and I didn't especially want the job.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.
