Ruger Single Six .32 H&R Mag.

I have on of these with a 4&5/8ths" barrel, great little SA in a great caliber.  Anyway was down south last month and spotted one in a pawn shop, has the birds head grip.  Sent a message to them today to see if still available.  Does anyone here shoot one of these and if so general comments.  Also what's a fair price for one in very good condition?  Thanks for any comments.

my first 32 ruger was a birdshead gun. It was a very accurate little gun but the grip was just to small for my big hands. I know have an ajustable sighted 4 5/8s single six and its a neat little gun. Ive never heard of a 32 ruger that wasnt a shooter. Ive owned a few others. a 5.5 single six. a 6.5 bisley two toned factory gun and a sp100 4 inch 32 and they all shot very well.

Well they had raised the price so no deal, just going to have to shoot the heck out of the one I got.

If you want a fun one, get the 9 inch barrel.  They are a hoot, and accurate too.

You might want to rethink that Ruger.  My .32 H&Rs are a Ruger SSM and a S&W 631.  Both are remarkable shooters.

Keep your eyes open.  Pawn shops seem to pick up a nice one every now and again.  Some are even priced decent, or can be chewed down to a reasonable price.

Might just pick up one in double action to have with my Ruger SA.  Reminds me I have to reload some wcs soon.

  Have 2 pairs of Ruger .32's - a pair the beds head models, the other pair is the standard Single Six model with 5 1/2" bbls.  FUN little revolvers.    One of the non-birds head models is set to be shipped off to receiver it's brass birds head grip frame fitted and finished.

I have a biggish hand and longish fingers, handled a Bird's Head 4 5/8" a while back and it felt GOOD. It was NIB and priced accordingly so I did not buy it. Sure wish they would make that grip an option in the Sgl.Six 22 line!

The birdshead grip model seems to go for $465 to $585 on the auctions. Most that I have watched, which I watch many .32 H&R Mag. Single Six revolvers,seem to go for less than $500 in this economy.Depends also if blued or stainless.With blues starting around $425
