Every gun is different. I would, however, start by using 160gr bullets. Buy a box of several different brands and see what the rifle likes. Mine won't shoot anything well, except for the Nosler Partitions. Everything else won't group for squat. 7Mag's do tend to perform best near max loads. Just work up slowly.

I shoot 140 grain for deer.  Mine does not like partitions but loves ballistic tips.  I mostly use Sierra flat base 140 bullets.  I've used more IRM 4831 than anything else but think the slower Reloader Alliant powders would work, as will 7828.  Hard to beat 4831 however.

My 700adl likes the 154gr hornady interbond and a max dose of H-4831

Loaded up some rounds for a friend for use on coyotes and possible out-of-state deer using IMR 4831SC and 140 grain bullets.  Shot excellent out of his Ruger.

Wiley, we use mostly I4350 and Re22 in our 7mm Rem.. I have one, my pal has 4 or 5..they usually use 140's for deer and elk, with some 160's....My pick with the 140's were BT's...but I followed the Alliante data, and it offered much higher loads than other data..it would move a 140 at 3400fps..as for lighter loads, my use was 120's either Horn. hp, or Nosler BT...loaded them for coyotes, but my wife shot many antelope with these loads..they were hard on meat if one made a bad shot, but killed like lighting..I also shot a bunch of coyotes and some antelope with Serria 100 grain hollowpoints..but every coyote I hit with them ran..not far, but they all ran a distance...
