Will greece leave the Euro?
« on: May 14, 2012, 03:33:25 PM »
They should. I'm hoping it does. I also am cynical enough to realize they will probably keep some way of keeping greece in the union. Before the EU, if a podunk country like greece failed, it would be of little consequence to us. When an insolvent economic hell hole like that is in the EU, it becomes a major issue. Where is our leadership, who should be telling them to get out of the EU? It's against our best interest to have them there.

A littler off topic, but has a push on the OP.
Does anyone remember what the original exchange rate was between the Euro & the US buck?

I seem to remember something like $2.50 to 1 Euro.
I thought it was way over valued back then.
