"Sold Out After Crisis" series
« on: March 12, 2012, 03:00:10 PM »
I've gotten a few e-mails on this booklet series. Anyone bite on it? Is it worth it? Anything a country boy might glean from it?

I get this e-mail that comes around ever so often and if I'm really bored I might listen to it. Takes about 10 minutes just to offer some booklets for sale. One is about how to make solar cells, and another is about what 37 items you'll likely need, and a lotta bla, bla, bla. I must have gone to sleep, because there was more, but don't remember. It might've come in on the tail of NRA e-mails, or that's the impression it was supposed to give. Even had an option for mailing in a money order for those who don't trust e-money.
Guess I dumped it, 'cause I couldn't resurrect it out of the trash. I'll keep an eye pealed for it if it comes around again.

well if it is a series like the "storey" booklets it might be worth while, but if they won't send a sample I wouldn't send money.

Also it could be a mini version of the foxfire series, or it could be all fluff and no stuff.

Well, it came around again. Just wondering if anybody's heard anything about it. Can't seem to get a link, though. Hmmm...

Well having alot of free time this morning I listened to the sales pitch, and it sounds like someone wants wanting to make a buck off the what if crowd.  I'm not saying we shouldn't be prepared for emergencies, but this smells of zombie apocalypse.

You can find similar articles all over the web.   All pretty much common sense, though......
