cummins air gun accuracy
« on: March 11, 2005, 12:25:44 PM »
Cummins Industrial tools sells this alsome $20.00 177.cal air gun. It is so accurate i can hit a penny at 15-20 yards with a 3-9 tasco scope shooting gamo magnums. If you get the chance buy one you will love the accuracy. But make sure you have a scope the sights on it stink. I was suprised that a $20.00 air gun is so accurate.

Best watch the game regulations as in many states shooting dove with anything other than a shotgun is illegal(comes under Federal regulations as they are migratory birds).  Same goes for quail.  One thing about those Cumins rifles is there is no safeties.  No safety for the underlever to keep it from snapping shut on your fingers while loading resulting in a possible loss of fingers.     No safety to keep the rifle from firing if the trigger is accidentally touched.     Those Cumins rifles are JUNK, PERIOD.  Lawdog

The under lever is a Chinese made B3. They are everywhere. They are usually tack drivers. Mine's 20+ years old, and is my go to gun for garden varmints. Just hold the cocking lever when you reload. The only ones I've heard snapping shut were ones that someone tried to modify the trigger pull. Two or three factories in China crank these things out by the thousands. Usually the ones for export are marginally better than the ones the Chinese can buy, but you need to check them out. Oh, and CLEAN it as soon as you get it.

they are accurate if you find the pellet they like, but they are not safe! save up 100 bucks and buy the beeman 2 barrel set from wally world! it's powerful, accurate and much safer, plus it's one h311 of a small game hunting gun! ;) trust the griz.... grizzly is good...grizzly is wise! as far as airguns anyway!!!! you an go as nuts as you want! if you got a grand to spare i can recommend a different gun!!!!!!what do you wana spend???? i love spending someone elses money!
