One of my favorite shooting ranges (BP only), Rebel Arms, Pasadena Tx, was forced to shut down by "civilization"  :( . The range was "out in the outskirts of the City of Pasadena (a Whitworth shot from the city dump) and two miles from an AFB. @$$holes err.... developers bought the land surrounding the range and (by error or design) placed an elementary school near the range. In this era of Columbine I do not have to tell you what happened. To make a long story short, the owners feud with the city, school, et al and it turned dirty, his property was confiscated by emminate domain. The shop which has BP guns of all discription will be open until July (July 4 to be exact) has a new location picked out... the only funny thing about the situation. It is going to be near the town of Cut & Shoot  :) .

makes you rethink the "IDEA" of being a "FREE PEOPLE". I hope he came out OK financially.Sounds like the planning committee was making some big bucks on the "slide".What other reason would you build a school that close to an AFB in these times of trouble.I can see the headlines now::

LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEVELED AS STRAY BOMB INTENDED FOR  AIR BASE EXPLODES , NO SURVIORS. XYZ TERRORISTS ORGANIZATION CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY.  :x  :x

Rollingb,

I thought that I would try out one of them in-line rifle guns - so I bought one, took it home, stoked it up with 4f, quadruple 7, Swiss and Pakastanian,. - then since I " live in the wilderness"  I took a shot outta the West window.  About 5 minutes later a sizzlebuster bullet, same type I shot outta the West window, came flyin in the East window.  I guess that  bullet just kept on flying till my other window finally slowed it down.  I guess you say that the world is my range.
