Sabots in a huntsman .45 cal?

How will the .45 caliber Huntsman do with powerbelts? or is it better to use round ball and patch? :-\

Per the FAQs, the twist on a 45 cal  Huntsman is 1:56, which I would say is a round ball twist rate.   Nothing is ever written in stone regarding a bullet's stability so you will not know about  your particular gun unless you try a few rounds.  The shorter a bullet or sabot you try the better the odds of it flying straight.

I had one of these a few years ago and it shot the 175 powerbelt fairly well.  It shot them better than round ball or the 195 powerbelt.  My bore was rough from the previous owner so my experience may be unique.  It's an expensive bullet but I found a bunch on sale at Cabela's once and of course bought them all and that is how I found out.  I have read on some bulletin boards this bullet is explosive and does not penetrate well. I planned on holding behind the shoulder but eventually got a Hawken.
