Anybody have any reloading info for this round? Just bought a Martini chambered for it. Pretty sweet looking.

but, 218 Mashburn Bee should be doable data, but I'd reduce a few grains to start

The 218 Bee was never a wildcat as per se, but rather a Winchester adaption of the 25-20 for their lever rifles they commercialized in the 30's or 40's.    So Parker's referral to them probably would be for the wildcat he designed from them.
 
I've had a couple of 218 Bee 10" Contender barrels, and mostly shot the Winchester 46 gr. OPE's in them with H4227 or IMR4198 powders.   Got about 2600 fps out of them.   You'll get more in the Martini, a great platform for the cartridge IMO.   My rifles and carbines based on this case were all 17 Ackley Bee's though, a fantastic little wildcat.   Ought to be plenty of data in the reloading manuals or at the on-line data sites for the 218 Bee pard, just look them up.

Thinking of rebarreling a Remington Model 5 Rolling block in 218 bee, but wondering if I should do 218 Ackley Bee instead.

What are your thoughts...   I love the 17 Ackley Bee  I have.

Depends on your uses and what you like I suppose.   But if the platform will handle it, why not shoot improved for the extras it'll give you over the parent cartridge?   Only downside would be the higher die cost, which would not be a downside to me.

Your right,  It doesn't matter to me either..  I am doing a 218 Ackley Bee 
I don't have the dies yet so I might as well buy what I really want.

Maybe I can trade off my 257 Roberts dies or the 7mm improved dies I don't use.

Mr. Ackley has data in his books. I believe they are available from eabco.com for $24.00 the set. Paperbacks. Mine are hard back. Getting old and trying to make the best of it. Ha, ha. Happy trails.

I've had the Mashburn Bee in a small martini for about 30 yrs.  It has a shorter neck and holds a little more powder than an Ackley. With a 17" barrel and 4227 powder-2750 fps with 55 gr. jacketed and 2935 with 40 gr. Sierra. I used to guide for a hunting club and it was such a favorite with the hunters that 23 bucks were killed with it.  Great little gun.  A good place to start would be .218 data +10%.
