Rifle values??

Is asking for advice on the value of a rifle OK on here??  If so, I have a Remington 760 carbine, 30-06, mint, about a 1977 rifle,  I have a buyer that wants it "frugal" and I would like to know what a fair (to both of us) price should be...  I'm listening...  thanks in advance...  :)

If your rifle is truely mint. New unfired condition.  :o With box & papers I would guess about $500. There are some regional differences so in some states maybe a bit more or less.  ;)

It is truly mint, ... but I don't have the box or papers.... we have since 'sorta' agreed on .... $450....   thankyou for your input... This is a mint 'shooter'... puts WW factory ammo into 1 inch at 100, Rem. factory corlocs into 1.5"....nice unaltered trigger also.... he's getting a dandy...  thankyou again...
