egg salad
« on: May 22, 2013, 03:21:51 PM »
i figure this is as good a place as
any to ask.
i make egg salad on occasion for
a sandwich or two.
i use eggs , mayo, mustard, dill,
paprika, minced onion, celery seed, and s&p.
if i'm the only one to partake, it might
get a bit of tony's or chipotle sauce.

anyone else make it different with
different ingredients or methods?

any suggestions for improvement?

Yep, I add sweet pickle relish, diced apples and drained tunafish and call it Tuna fish salad. I think that I would like your recipe and add some sweet pickle relish and diced apples. ear

That's about it but I find that when I take the time to home make the mayo it's way better.

Eggs, yellow mustard, a touch of dry mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, pickle relish.  MAYBE a few drops of Tobasco.  Open faced on lightly toasted sourdough.
