Anyone have a.257 Weatherby Magnum barrel

I have thought about having one made for my encore pistol. I was wondering if anyone has every had one before and how it shot.

I guess that if anybody did try a pistol barrel in 257 WM they can't read your post wanting to know about it. THEY ARE BLIND FROM THE MUZZLE FLASH. LOL.

I've never had one but I think several things are predictable about one:


1.  Efficiency (velocity) would be markedly reduced in the short barrel.


2.  Recoil wouldn't be to bad.


3.  Muzzle flash/blast would probably be impressive.


4.  In a well made barrel, it probably could be accurate.
