Change the caliber on my 5 1/2'' barreled 44 redhawk??

Has anyone ever sent there redhawk back to ruger to have the caliber changed???  I'd like to convert my redhawk to 41mag(maybe).

That would likely enter into the area of custom work or ar least RUGER's calling it custom work and as such they won't help you out.
 
If you had something wrong, and providing they still had parts available, they could fix your problem. 
 
But changing you over to a different caliber, not likely.

I know a barrel replacement is around 240 guessing 150-200 for cyl puts you in the 500 range plus shipping anf time. Would look for a differnt gun.

You'd come out ahead if you just sold that one and bought another in .41
 
Gary Reeder in AZ will do any custom work under the sun to a ruger if you have the $.
