#5 down...I finally got the one that has been eluding me!!!

I finally connected with this guy at 170yds this morning.  I wasted no time with him, he came out of the hole stood up and I put him right back down.  3 weekends I have been trying to connect with this guy.

Good job! Your persistence paid off! My comment walking out the door is usually "gonna see if I can catch one being stupid..." and sometimes they oblige, but you have to be out there!

I hear ya.  It's gonna be nice to look at something else while hunting besides that rusty old out building and over grown pasture. If i was an artist, I could draw every square inch of that piece of property to scale with 100% accuracy!!!

Way to keep after them.  Friday afternoon I connected with my first of the year.  I noticed the last time I was at the shooting range that the 100 yard berm had some new holes and activity.  Caught a young one out when I pulled up.  Was able to sneak over to the bench and lay her out with a .223 softpoint at 99 yards.  Chip shot!
