Interarms Model ATD-22 22LR
« on: May 30, 2012, 11:03:11 AM »
I picked up an Interarms 22 A.T.D at a gun show recently. It's an identicle copy of the Browning. Seems to be a pretty nice little .22 and I like that it breaks down. Should make a decent squirrel rifle. Anyone else have one or had any experience with one?

I bought one back when they were $99.00, new.  Very reliable, and pretty well made.  So so accurate.  Biggest issue was the barrel was always coming loose unless you really cranked the break down wheel tight.  It looked a lot better when I removed the sprayed on stock finish, and gave it a good oil finish.  Very handy and light weight.  Eventually traded it for something or other.  Always dreamed about one of the Browning grade 3 Belgium models, but every time I thought I had the cash, they kept going up in $$.

I have two of the Brownings in my gun safe. I really like them.
However, I like my two Winchester Model 63's a lot better... And, my Winchester Model 62A and my Winchester Model 61 too.
