Handi Sticks
« on: June 05, 2012, 02:17:53 PM »
I was inspired by recent photos of someone's BC with some very nice shooting sticks, so I knocked these up. Quarter round oak, notches for bolt and wing nut made with wood file, Minwax Special Walnut, Teak Oil, and some Jute twine. Just under 4.5 ft long, very light weight. Middle notch for sitting, top notch for kneeling. Leather thong rather than jute might be nice. I will replace stainless with brass.

[spoof]The Handi-Rifle is a highly matrixed, vintage tactical shooting platform allowing operators high interchangeability, extended caliber diversity, and a wide choice of range related optical solutions suited to the demands of their tactical operating environments.  ;) [/spoof]

Nicely done.  Been considering something along these lines.  I ended up using a cheapo plastic extendo monopod for now though due to laziness.  hehe  Well and too many other projects.  You may have prodded me, however into attempting something myself.  ;)
