Got this Huntsman. The barrel is tight to the breech all around. Do I need to... how do I cut out the top of the barrel to make it 'open' please? I'll be mounting a scope. Didn't see this in the FAQs. I'll keep looking though...
Thanks

I just used the mill to cut the top of the barrel open forward to the breech plug, the same could be done with a dremel, mine is a modern barrel with the opening for the primer carrier, so I didn't feel the need to open it up any more, you could make an opening on each side also, but the factory made barrels I've seen(older H&R M156W, Traditions NW edition) just have one opening at the top of the barrel.
