Bigboar, I just purchased a 700 Lam. Varmiter in .243...I don't screw with adj. triggers myself, but took it to my gunsmith...I told him to set it for just under 3 pounds..It came out at 2 3/4 pounds..perfect... ;) So I would say they are adjustable if one knows how to adj. them...as for accuracy, excellent like every 700 Varmiter I have owned...this one is the best shooting .243 I have ever owned...best of luck... ;)

The new Remington triggers are adjustable for weight of pull but not sear engagement from the info I have. I would suggest a trip to a smith for piece of mind..

Home smithing a trigger , with no experience is a bad idea ! Spend a few bucks , and get it done right . I've worked on many guns that were made unsafe by the owners adjusting their own triggers . Better safe than sorry !
