GOD sent you an angel
She wasn't a gift
She was just a loan
Heaven must have really missed her so GOD decided to take her back home
So don't you worry
And don't you fear
Because in your heart
You know she will always be near.
There are no words to say
To take your sorrow and pain away.
But in your sorrow and pain
We all will share
And hope you know how much we care.
May GOD comfort you with  HIS love and your faith.

Please find any counseling you can for depression.    A first resource is your faith, but often ministers aren't trained enough to handle everything.  Look to any local suicide prevention programs, ask for help from the hospital and doctors.  We all pray that there will not be another tragic loss in your family.    We have all seen the affects from a loved one deciding to "go with" a deceased family member.

Also, remember, that often the decision to end life can be triggered months later; by an anniversary or just by seeing some other child who resembles Jadyn.
just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not watching you

Oh my......

I was unfortunate enough to have lost a child a few years back.

It's a hard thing which I think about each and every day.  Time makes it easier but the hurt never really goes away, or, at least, it hasn't for me.  I'm sorry.

Here's a passage that brings me some comfort, maybe it'll help you some to.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboreth?

¶ I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God.

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

With sincere sympathy to you sir. How often we wonder why or try to understand God's will. Evey time I read of Jadyn's problems and treatments I prayed for her. Matter of fact I had her in my daily prayers. Now I will pray for those left behind.

John said today that they had no life ins on Jadyn because no one would insure her with her med history. He has asked for cash assistance for buriel expenses. Not sure how long the careingbridge site will be left up but theres a place there to donate if anybodys heart is lead to do so. I too would accept donations and pass them on to him avoiding him being taxed on the official donation site. Thanks for all of the prayers guys. A sister is taking it real hard as she had a son killed on the hwy about the same age a few years ago. Our nerves are shot but we've been kept busy helping my Mom. We took her to chemo 2 days last week then to the dr for another shot on Fri. We are dreading tomorrow and Tues. I don't ever remember going to a childs funeral. Pattys Mom was buried just 2 wks ago. The past several months have been the pits, very trying times for sure. Faith??? I still have it but it's hard not to question. God gave her to them knowing they would fight for Jadyn with all their heart, but I can't understand why he allowed that sweet child to suffer for so long. No doubt a vast knowledge of info has been gained from Jadyns experiences but it's still hard to deal with. I'll shut up for now. Charlie.  :( :( :( :( :( :(

My grandson visits a children's hospital much too frequently . To see all those children suffering is a sobering sight to say the least. Why a loving God allows children to suffer, is beyond my comprehension.

Jadyn is the granddaughter of Ed and Pauline Wright, Barb Nelson of Effingham, Charles and Patty Nelson of Paneville, KY and great-granddaughter of Adele Nelson of Watson. Jadyn is the niece of Dwayne and Angie (Wright) Scott of Salem, Steve and Lisa (Wright) Tegeler of Watson, Rob and Lori (Wright) Smith of Nashville,TN, Darin and Cheryl (Nelson) Wright of St. Elmo, and several cousins.

Charlie, I've been gone a few days and when I saw this my heart sank in my chest.  I can never understand why a child has to suffer so and your pictures of Jadyn made her even more personal to me.

But she is with God now; and happy.  And now her family are the ones who need our support and prayers.  The pain must be unbearable.

Got home late this evening, we are all devastated. We buried her yesterday, 385 people signed the guest book with 10 or more drs and nurses all the way from St Louis. The casket was small but she barely filled 1/2 of the length. She was swelled so badly that they had to buy a new dress to bury her in because none of her clothes would fit. Even with the swelling she was still beautiful. In her 5 1/2 years she spent 645 days in that hospitol, being admitted 80 times. Thats not counting all the trips for blood or other hospitols or dr visits. When she wasn't sick or hurting she loved life and lived it to the fullest. She had several last wish trips that she was not able to take. Kristine is in the worst shape. The whole time she was like a she bear with a wounded cub, extremely protective and always there. She wouldn't even leave the room to eat. When the 4 pall bearers set the casket on the rollers over the grave the casket dipped down and if they hadn't grabbed it. It was shorter than a regular casket and all the weight in her end, it came very close to dropping straight down. The preacher did a great job, even talking about King David losing a child. We are very tired and need rest. Thanks for the continued prayers. Patty is taking this worse than her mother dying just a few weeks ago. Later. Charlie.  :( :(

John said they had taken over 25,000 + pics of her. I believe they always knew the day would come that she would die. Their home is plastered with pics in every room, every wall, almost like a shrine. John went to the house and gathered up all her toys, etc, and put them in her room and shut the dr. Kristine says she'll never go there again or use her studio.
PM me if anyone wants to help them and I'll send you my address and pass it on to my Moms house in ILL, she didn't want her address made public and she'll see that John gets it. They are paying what they can to the hospitol. Hug your children today while you can. Seems I met a guy from another board who drove from St Louis to the visitation and didn't even know it. I reckon my mind was elsewhere. After so many handshakes and hugs I just couldn't remember him, I hope he has accepted my appology. Charlie.  :( :(
