Ok, if Ron's son can get behind Romney and see that this is a must win for the country, why can't you???

I'll vote for White Obama but only because he is only slightly less evil than Half White Obama. However White Obama will never have my support.

Romney got all the delegates he needs, who else was left that the Senator should support?

Ross Perot quit when his family was threatened by the republicans. I suspect the same happened here.

I still cannot give my blessing on the destruction of freedom and the constitution by the democrats or the republicans. Voting for Romney would be giving my blessing to evil.

Why do you suspect Rand's family was threatened by the republicans? Any proof of that one.
And do you think Ron Paul would be silent, I don't.

I was not a Romney fan at the start of this, but my wife who is one of the most conservative people I know made me take another look at Romney and I am starting to come around to him.  First of all, people can change, a lot of great conservatives started out liberal. If you look at your political views over your lifetime, I guarantee you they have morphed one way or another. Likely more conservative as you matured.... I believe Romney has turned a corner in his life as well.  He supports Paul Ryan's budget and medicare overhaul (which would save this country) and he supported Scott Walker in his fight with the unions collective bargaining issue.  In my book, that is the best thing I have seen from a conservative running for the White House since Reagan...  And unless you run for the office, you will never find someone that you agree with 100% anyway...

Do you understand the meaning of the word “suspect”? If I had proof, I would have said,”I know”. I have good reason to suspect because that was the MO these criminals used in the past. Ross Perot war up to 20% in the polls and moving up fast. Suddenly he quit saying the republicans threatened his family. Witnesses at the builderberg meeting last week reported hearing heated conversations from attendees wanting Ron Paul dead.

Thank goodness Ross Perot dropped out.  I'm wishing Ron Paul would do the same.

I know the meaning of "suspect", but I also know what crap is too. I think Romney is less than desirable & the Republican top brass as well & I "suspect' many things, but would not list them as even a possible reason, without something to go on. Again, I give Ron Paul credit for having the brass to let us know if that happened, just as Perot did, that is how we found out, he told us.

Many people in the liberty movement consider Rand Paul to be a sell out. This could be so, but it is also possible that Rand thinks that he can change the corrupt system from within. His father probably knows better as he probably has better understanding of the nature of governments.

From day one when the people concede to a government, they give up some of their liberty and wealth. A government without power is not a government and without confiscated wealth, it is unable to function. It is the very nature of those incorporated into the government to desire to do more and grow in stature. When a fiat money system is introduced it provides an easy avenue to it's growth desires. It also contains the seed for it's final destruction. Government control of interest rates and money supply hampers the free market and causes problems which is followed by intervention. The economy becomes weaker and over time breeds it's own destruction. Corruption of the elect becomes more prevalent as the system provides for their natural desires of power and well being. It takes a man of strong principles to resist when the smooth way is to concur. Ron Paul seems to be a man with those principles. Perhaps his son is not.

They want you to vote. It means that you have given them your consent to be governed. Without the consent of the majority, they cannot exist.

As Henry David Thoreau said, "someone said that the government which governs least is the government that governs best, but I say the government which does not govern at all is best".
The sole purpose of government is to protect your liberty. The Constitution is not to restrict the people, but to restrict government.  Ron Paul

My guess is that it was a balloon set out by Ron, to see how his followers will react to his son supporting Romney. I will bet my left nut that Ron will follow suit before election time and I also suspect that Ron will get an appointment from Romney when he defeats ZerObama.

I don't know that, but I would consider it a possibility.

I doubt Ron Paul will endorse Romney:

One is a statist, the other for liberty.
One is a Keynesian (central planning), the other is of the austrian school of economics (free market).
One is for wars, the other is for peaceful coexistence when possible.
One supports the bailouts, the other thinks it is robbery of the people.
One thinks government can create jobs by confiscating capital, the other thinks jobs are created by businesses when the government leaves them with enough capital.
One is a supporter of the Federal Reserve, the other thinks the Federal Reserve is the cause of economic distress.
One is Alexander Hamilton, the other is Thomas Jefferson.

Rand is smarter than Ron.  he can talk about more than one issue, and he actually has solutions to problems.

Exactly why would it matter whether Ron P endorses Romney? The man has got all the delegates he needs.
