I was in my favorite gun store a few days ago and saw what looked like a CZ 75B on the wall.  I own a CZ 75 but I had to look at it anyway so asked to see it.  It turned out to be made in Turkey by Canik 55 and it is a dead ringer of the CZ 75 B.  The big difference is that the frame is aluminum alloy and the gun is considerably lighter and so is the price.  With tax it cost me $412 out the door which is almost $200 less than my CZ.  I ended up buying it and found out that it shoots about the same for me as my CZ and uses the same magazines etc.  It is a nice carry gun and does not drag my pants down as much as my CZ.  So far I have only fired a 150 rounds through it but I have had no issues.
