I posted this on the gun smithing site also. I have a nice but used 629 that I have put about 3-400 round through. Shoots fine but from the beginning there has been some extra minor resistance to opening the cylinder. The revolver is clean and oiled but just seams to have some friction at the rear of the cylinder when opening. The latch appears to be functioning ok.
